Candle Care

Here are some steps that can help you care for your candles:

  1. Trim the wick: Before lighting your candle, always ensure that the wick is trimmed to approximately 1/4 inch. This helps to prevent too much soot building up, which can lead to a poor burn and black smoke.

  2. Let the wax melt evenly: On the first burn, let the wax melt until it reaches the edge of the container. This helps to create an even burn pool and ensures that your candle lasts as long as possible.

  3. Burn for the right amount of time: Avoid burning your candle for more than four hours at a time, as this can cause the wick to become too long, leading to a poor burn and potential danger.

  4. Keep the candle away from drafts: To ensure a steady and even burn, keep the candle away from windows, fans, or areas with a lot of airflow.

  5. Store it properly: When not in use, ensure that your candle is stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keeping it in a warm place can cause the wax to soften. I recommend placing the lid on the candle after each use. It will prevent dust from accumulating in you candle.
